Last week we missed WAYRW because I was the host of Interview Wednesday for the first time. That was fantastic- I love getting to know the people behind the books! However, I missed hearing what everyone's reading.
My daughter is reading Strawberry Shortcake's Easter Surprise over and over again. And again. It might be the glitter she loves so. I think she is going to be disappointed if we don't do a scavenger hunt at Easter this year. When is it again?
My son is into If You Take a Mouse to School - he is fascinated by the chocolate chip cookies I think!
As for me- I'm knee deep in Kyo Maclear's brand new release for adults, Stray Love. I'll have a review soon I think, but for now, it's marvelous.
Tell me what you are delving into this week!
I have to say I'm glad I miss out on Strawberry Shortcake's Easter Surprise...although maybe I'm doing it an injustice!;)
ReplyDeleteI am reading my first Anthony Trollope- 'The Way we live now'. It was a controversial choice for book club because it's very, very looong- but turns out it's cracking- and eerily contemporary; baddy bankers, self publicising authors, feckless youth and all!
Bill is stuck into Harry Potter and the chamber of Secrets and delighted to discover he has the stamina for it now. Eddie is stuck into 'Dimity Dumpty' by Bob Graham- the tale of Humpty's flute playing sister.
I liked the first few "If you give a..." books, but got tired of the premise really quick.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I are reading "Little House in the Big Wood," my wife and son are reading "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," while I'm reading The Game, Les Miserables, Paris Stories, and Body Trade.
I hope, since it just celebrated its 50th anniversary, that somebody somewhere is reading the magnificent A Wrinkle in Time.
ReplyDeleteI am reading a Jill Mansell romance {To the moon and back} on the kindle app on my ipad and also a John Grisham paperback.
ReplyDeleteThe boys are reading Spot`s First Easter, How to Catch A Star and A colour of his own over and over again!
